ElevaTech is a field technician management platform designed exclusively for authorized technicians. We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the app:

Authentication Credentials (Username & Password): Used solely to verify your identity and provide secure access to the system. Passwords are never stored in plain text. They are securely hashed using industry-standard hashing algorithms before storage. This information is never shared with any third party.
GPS Location: Location data is collected only when you actively start a field visit within the app. It is used exclusively to record and confirm the technician's presence at the job site. Location is not tracked in the background and is not collected when the app is not in use.
Work Order & Visit Data: Includes job details, visit timestamps, work status updates, and any notes recorded during a visit. This data is used solely to manage and track field operations within your organization.
Device Token (Push Notifications): A device token is collected to send you job assignments and operational alerts. This token is linked to your account and is not used for any marketing purpose.
We do NOT collect: Contacts, photos, microphone access, camera, browsing history, or any other personal information beyond what is listed above.

3. App Permissions Required

To function properly, the app requires the following permissions:

Internet: To connect to the ElevaTech backend and sync job data in real time.
Fine & Coarse Location (GPS): To record the technician's location when a field visit is started. This permission is used only during active visits.
Push Notifications: To receive job assignments and important operational alerts from the system.

We do not request any additional permissions beyond those listed above.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data exclusively for:

Secure technician authentication and session management.
Displaying and managing assigned work orders and job details.
Recording visit locations and timestamps to confirm field attendance.
Sending real-time job notifications and assignment alerts.
Improving app performance and resolving technical issues.

5. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do NOT share, sell, or rent your data to any third party. Your data is used exclusively to provide the application's services and is processed through our secure internal systems. We use Firebase (by Google) solely for push notification delivery; no personal data beyond the device token is shared with this service.

6. Data Security

We implement strong security measures to protect your data, including:

Password Hashing: Passwords are securely hashed using industry-standard hashing algorithms before storage. Plain-text passwords are never retained.
Encrypted Transmission: All data exchanged between the app and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS).
Secure Local Storage: Authentication tokens stored on your device are protected using the Android Keystore system, ensuring they cannot be accessed by other applications.
Access Controls: Strict role-based access controls are enforced. The app is accessible only to users with the technician role; unauthorized roles are rejected at login.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information and work history as long as your account is active within your organization. If your account is deactivated or deleted, all associated personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Work order records may be retained in anonymized form for operational reporting purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

ElevaTech is a professional platform intended for use by adults in a workplace environment. It is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.

Request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.
Request correction of any inaccurate information linked to your account.
